Puppet Maker, Designer and Puppeteer
About Me
I am a Puppet Maker and Puppeteer Based in London. I studied Puppetry at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. My passion for puppetry started at a young age when I saw a puppet show at Butlins and that was It, I was hooked!
I have always been creative and for as long as I remember I've always been happiest when I am making things! after I finished school I went on to do an art foundation where I was really able to explore my creativity and I was also lucky enough to find my puppetry course at central.
central gave me a chance to really explore my passion and spend time with likeminded people. I had so many chances to explore puppetry and the fascinating world it inhabits. I was able to experiment with puppetry types and styles and really start to discover who I was as a puppeteer.
since leaving university I was lucky enough to get to work on some incredible productions and gain some real experience working with some amazing puppeteers and puppet makers. a highlight of this would be the smartest giant in town which went on the receive a nomination for an Olivier award.
currently I am working full time as a prop and costume maker at the London dungeons. I get to spend my days working with some amazingly talented people and expanding my skills all while making some interesting (maybe a bit gorey) props and costumes, as well as expanding my make up and wig skills too.
If only little Chris could see me now, I don't know what's next in my story but I can't wait to find out!
