Gingy

Gingy was a huge and fulfilling challenge for me. this puppet was made for Shrek's Adventure London as a meet and greet character that the guests could interact with and get a photo with.
He is completely signed off by Dreamworks as an Official IP character and this is the first time he has ever been built and performed in this manner.
He was made completely by myself. He has a Plastazote carved body with mechanisms built into his Hips, Neck, Head, Mouth, Eyebrows and Arm for maximum movement. All of his features were either 3D printed to fit his or were hand carved by myself. His fleece was custom dyed as were many of his other fabrics to ensure a complete colour match for Dreamworks approval.
He was Performed by actors that used controllers and triggers through his back and the back of his sofa. he was also voiced by them live.
